Yes you need the micros in the base. Use half the base you normally do for a given EC. The other half booster. The way I do it anyways...

If it's your first time using PK be careful, shits hot, so try to find online someone else using it in a similar system and see what amount they use, mostly you should never follow bottle label. I just started using it and I've overdid it twice now.

I'm using a Canna PK13/14 at 1.5ml/L for 6 days (3 feeds) - this is 4th day and I'm getting extreme yellow on top fan leaves.
I spoke to Canna and they told me it will go when the PK feed stops and the nutrients at the recommended dilution will still be very beneficial for bud development.

That's what I use in DWC. Just killed off a bit of leaves, yellowed em right up, same with my last grow.

Yeah - it's pretty strong stuff - even though the leaves are yellow/lime they are getting frosty..

By the time I was ready to add PK I was already feeding A+B and 2ml/L Boost for the prior week. I upped Boost to 4ml/L with the PK for 6 days (3 feeds only) and the A+B - after the PK I remained on the higher level Boost.
