I've been doing a lot of experimenting with one general goal -- I want my perpetual grow to consist of short bushy (indica) plants. After a while I noticed that the shape of the pot used can influence the shape and often size of the plant. I bought some 18-inch tall trash baskets at the Dollar Store to use as pots. I noticed that the tall, skinny pots produced tall skinny plants. Then I switched to 3-gallon pots that were as wide as they are tall. Those plants were shorter and had shorter intermodal distances, therefor more bushy. Try it yourself and report back to us.
Good luck, BigSteve.
