using rain water

i have read that plants like low ph, i have also read that rainwater has a very low ph so i was wondering if it is a good idea to use rainwater in an aeroponics system

I wouldn't. Have you seen our skies? Rainwater is absolutely filthy.

My plants love the rain, but IDK about using in a Hydro system

I use tap water for my grow. It's ~200ppm. Not really that bad. People often use Rain water for growing cannabis, it isn't that uncommon. Depending on where you live, it can be better than tap.

Rainwater here for some reason blows my plants up, all plants, all flowers. bushes, trees you name it. With that said I tried it in the hydro system and stored it in a rainbarrel and the result was lots of pest. They sit and lay their larve in the barrels so if you dont get it the first day you are screwed.

When it rains light I put the potted plants from the grow room outside and the next day back in the grow room the dank smell is fantastic.
