Vaccum pump help..barely gets to 20 psi

2.5cfm vacc pump, chamber and gauges got it off extractionexperts.com

What am I doing wrong? I heat my oil up before I throw it in there I'm only getting barely 19 20 psi though... my brake bleeder was 1/8th the price and got to nearly 25psi...

you mean 20hg? My hand pump gets to 25 and with heat added, it works fine. I think you may want a higher CFM pump.

Yes lol anyone else use a higher cfm pump or can tell me their method?

im betting you didnt put teflon tape on your fittings and or running an incorrect oil level in pump

I hit 28 hg with a 6 cfm single stage pump.I would think a 2.5 would do that but just take longer.

Yeah I put my thumb on the hose and stops at 20hg... garbage??????
