Early/Mid Flower and Humidity at Canopy Level is 60%, but Humidity at the base of the girls is 40%.

Do you think a Dehumidifier would be needed? Should I ignore the lower reading and only take into consideration the reading from the canopy height?

Humid air always rises, drier air below.

Having said that.....

If your hygrometer is really close to the leaves, you'll get a false reading since leaves release water vapor. Humidity will be always high within close proximity to the leaves. IMO, take the lower reading as the true representation of your humidity.

As aside, this the reason or the importance of good air flow...is to move the air. By moving the air, you're also moving that humidity closer to equilibrium.

I have one small fan in the corner facing down, one small fan blowing across the top of the canopy. Third fan in the middle blowing upwards. 600CFM exhaust.

I did actually move the hygrometer up a bit as it was in the leaves and that brought it into the 50s... much better! lol

Think hygrometer was just a false reading being too close to leaves. (it was but they grew over and I forgot to move it up lol)

Went back up to high 60s... will probably need to fire up the dehumidifier!

Top of tent definitely feels much more humid than bottom!

If you could exhaust air out quicker/more consistent it should lower the humidity. Would prolly be cheaper then firing up a dehumidifier electricity wise.

If rh is below 70% from flip to week 4, why worry about it at all? Theres np chance for boytris/rot etc. After week 4.5 when the buds are getting going, then 60, 65 tips is ideal
