Veg light time

Im about to start my first grow, im looking to grow white widow max? it seems to have a good yield and thc amount, best of both worlds, but what are the pros and cons of doing 18/6 and 24/0 for lights..wouldnt 24/0 be better?

you will get both opinions - imho it does not seem to matter much - or the experienced growers would have a stronger opinion. the commercial growers on this site all seem to use 18/6 because they are trying to minimize electricity, cool the room and save money.
