I had one. Needed to upgrade to a 7++ cfm 8 inch for my 2 1000w but worked good. That filter will go out soon. But will last a grow. Almost easyer to get a 8 inch fan and a 600 cfm 6 inch filter from your local store. More money but longer life.

Twice as much if your store is good but fan has a 5 year worrenty and filter is good up to 3 years. Like I said if money is short it's a good deal but if you can spend the extra for it now it will save in the longe run.

Hay that's what I did get what you can but you will be buying another later. I still use the fan but as a intake. Or save incase of a failure. Never know shit happens. Better to have a crappy back ip then none at all. I hope I helped. But with 250 I say go for it.

Ya def go 8in with bigger fan and filter for 2 1000w. I run a 454cfm, With 65deg cool air running through hood no filter and I get temps at 79deg with 1000w 2.5 feet away from plants if I don't adjust. I try to keep temps at 75deg.
I'm sure you thought of this but the filter will take away pull from fan. I don't know the calc. for this for filter size vs fan vs room size and light but its out here on net just gotta look.

I know it's difficult but don't be like me..... I have a corner of my loft packed with cheap crap I bought for my rig and replaced within weeks of buying. It is false economy and doesn't pay.

Cheap filters used less than a year that don't filter properly. (you ever tried to fet rid of a massive fiter)
metres and metres of 4" and 5" ducting I never use.
Noisey inadequate fans.
Crap shades with crap light spead and too much heat.
moisture metres and ph metres that were way off.

The list is endless. Do your DD and get the best you can afford my friend.

Also, are you trying to cool your lights with this fan and filter or are you just scrubbing the air?

No way will it cool your lights noticeably..
