i have a four inch hole in my grow box, would putting a four and 1/2 inch fan begind it for exhaust be a problem?

It'd just cut down the amount of air that is being vented. :)

Cut the hole bigger.

yea that makes sense, i don't want to by another size hole saw if i don't have to, do you think it'll cut down significantly, enough to prevent a descent amount of ventilation

It won't significantly cut down airflow. But it will take a little bit away. Why can't you cut the hole a little bigger by hand, jigsaw?

alright thanks, Mr Marks- btw my jigsaw is broke which im fine with because i've built everything i just need a hole, and the hole saw will be perfect

another question should i attach the fan on the inside of the box(so it would be pushing the air outside) or should attach it on the outside so it's sucking the air out

inside the box for stealth or outside the box if you're tight on space. it won;t make a difference in airflow if you seal it well enough. if you have problems with the seal you should put the fan inside

i have an ok size box, its 4ft high, 4 long and 2 feet wide so i think i'll put it on the inside, it'll be airtight so i'm hoping i'll be running at good temps- thanks a bunch desert
