I've been reading for weeks and weeks and I have to say this forum blows all the others away. Anyway, I'm wanting to set something up (all in my head of course - I'd never do this in real life ). If I had a set up with the following, would it work out fine? It seems like there are many different ways to go about it as far as where to place what.

I want odor control with a carbon filter while using the same fan to cool a reflector with glass lens. Is it okay to blow air through the reflector instead of sucking it out? The muffler may or may not be necessary, but is that a good place to put it? Hopefully someone who knows what he or she is doing can help me out. BTW, sorry for the crappy diagram. I just did it real quick because it helps me to visualize it. :bigjoint: Thanks!!!

Yes that works..

a couple thoughts..

make sure you clean the glass at least once a month for the first month.. I suspect you are going to have some build u of shit on the glass. that will reduce lumens getting to plants..

you can get egg crate sleeping foam at Kmart, Target etc. and wrap your exhaust fan in this stuff... IT totally muffles the sound... You can even put pieces up in the room.. the foam absorbs sound, vibration and even some odor :)

good shit
