Not really an attic, can't walk around up there. I guess the proper term is crawl space. Anyways, I'm thinking of going with a 400 watt hps (possibly one that can run metal halide so I don't have to buy a separate veg light system). I'm going to be using a Stanley blower that I'll be rigging up (and possibly modifying) to some ducting. This will enable me to ventilate my grow space fairly silently. A lot of grow fans make a ton of noise, which would be problematic being that I'll be sleeping near my grow room.
So my question is, will ventilating my grow room up into the attic cause condensation? Where I'm living at we never see freezing temperatures it's pretty much always in the 60s 70s or 80s.
Will this make a difference in the amount of condensation I would be seeing? Plus won't warmer air make it harder for condensation go occur?? Or is cold air required for this?-- it used to get humid as hell in my dads grow room til he through in an ac. He recirculated the warm (humid?) air into the living space and it made the walls and windows drip.
Is this concept called dew point? Where you look at differing temperatures and humidity to see the point which condensation would occur? (Can someone please provide a link to this)
Any help would be much appreciated, the only other option I can think of is putting an ac adapter slat in my window for ventilation. I'd prefer to vent into my attic, would this be problematic considering it will only be 400w, and moderate tempetature? What causes condensation to occur? And is this the only potential problem?
I know threads like this have been posted before. However, I'm making the point that I'm not in a super cold climate
