would placing my grow tent under this manhole then putting the ducting to go up through the manhole and vent into the roof work? or would it just make my house alot hotter. (its already summer)

If you are talking about venting a tent into your attic, consider this... It will make the attic even hotter than it is. If the attic doesn't have enough ventilation, you will cause mold to grow on all the rafters in the attic. You can try to run the vent into the attic, then force it outside, like through a soffit vent, or a roof vent. All in all, just venting into the attic is half-assed and lazy. Mold is bad for your lungs.

does your bathroom have a vent fan in it? if so then the roof should have enough ventilation in it, your good to go. it wont make your house hotter. but it will make it show up on infrared cameras.
