I am going to do an experiment using a vertical 400w Ceramic Metal Halide i havent seen many people flower with this bulb, and i have a new obsession with vertical grows so combined both my curiosities into one. anyway i am starting with some Chem91 plants that i rescued from my friends backyard they were in 1 gallon pots and about 3.5 feet tall lol root bound is an understatement. i have trimmed off all water leaves and did some super cropping and topping to get these babbies back to health. they were transplanted into 5 gallon smart pots with sunshine mix soil.

I plan to use house and garden soil A+B as my base nutes. i recently received a new nutrient line from the netherlands that i was told to test out its super concentrated called aptus supposedly better than h&g we will see. they only make additives so thats y i use the H&G for my base nutes. so 2 plants on aptus and 2 on H&G full line.

i will keep updates daily.2011-07-29 22.54.26.jpgbathroom picture 07-29.jpg

Subb'd. I'm very curious to see how well the H&G does.
i use the hg stuff now and love it i have used GH, AN, Supernatural, and canna in the past and so far HG is the best as far as yield, potency, and low maintenance. However i have been hearing some incredible claims about aptus my friend is the distributor here so i am doing a test. he also switched from HG to aptus he claimed he got 20% higher yield overall with aptus compared to HG. im very excited to see how this does especially with the CMH so far this bulb is amazing everyone is blown away by the super low heat and the node spacing is unbelievable for this strain. i just got a few seeds from a friend of tahoe OG i am popping them now and will be using them as 12/12 from seed with the same test so i can see how OG reacts to the nutrient since they are very tempermental and that is the strain i mainly grow.

so they are filling in nicely after getting their hair cut. i am feeding them tomorrow didn't have time to stop off and get the rest of the nutes today, and they aren't drinking as fast as i thought anyway.

Why magnetic? Aren't they hotter?
honestly the heat difference i never notice i would rather pay less for magnetic and they last longer etc. i dont trust digitals i have seen too many break. they will be great in a few years when the price comes down to where magnetics and the technology gets more reliable. until then im magnetic all the way
