Very basic MH/HPS cooltube wiring help needed

So I got this new cooltube for my grow and my potato-brain's greatest fear became reality. I know the colors of the power cable wires are ground (green-yellow), blue (neutral) and brown (phase). But black and white wires in the cooltube have me stumped... Please help my potato-brain!

You need a ballast.

Are you sure there isn't a wiring diagram on the ballast or something?

You can't power the socket directly from the wall. You will need a ballast that is appropriate for the type bulb you intend to run.

I do have a ballast, came from the store all setup. Thing is that the reflector I already have came wired as well, but the cooltube I already have came with the plug unwired.

I know that fortunately, but problem is that the IEC plug that came with the cooltube isn't attached to it

Relax, smoke a bowl, it's all good. Honestly, while not correct or ideal, it would work wired the other way around.
