very specific question about TRICHOMES. pls assist if you can! thanks

Hi everyone!

let me ask you an important question.

lets say a plant has a 10 week long flowering phase but by the end of the 9th week around 50-60% percent of the trichomes
are white and zero amber.

So my question is:

if I should leave my plant to flower for more than 10 weeks in order to have more white tricomes eventually?

OR

after 9-10 weeks the trichomes wont get anymore whiter cuz the natural time frame of the plant is finished so what I achieved is what I achiaved, thats it.
(I mean like, i can keep my plants alive, but genetically nothin will happen after 10 weeks)

They will keep ripening until all the trichs are amber (unless something is keeping the plant from maturing like stress, n tox, low light, ect) and eventually start to herm once it goes long enough

You should better read "Harvesting and Curing" subforum.
Answering your question: plant is ready when it's ready, you let it grow until there are enough white/amber trihoms.
