Wanting New Grow Lights

so i want some new grow lights for my plants,
somethings that would be good for like 6 plants, and small nothing bigger than
2ft by 2ft.

right now i got 2 20watt fluorescence 2ft lamps...
their growin but growin slow...just want something to give them more light

i want something that doesnt get too hot, cause its closed...

go with CFLs then. 125,200w,250w. u can get them from ebay.

Yea i got myself a 200w envirolite (cfl) of e-bay a while back - i use it just for vegging but you can use them all the way through, they do them in blue and red spectrums aswell, not very expensive either, i think i paid around £40 for mine.

something like that would do fine - that one is in the red spectrum, ideally you could do with one blue and one red

i use 2 200 watt enviros for veg and flower, my m8 bought 2 250 watt enviros, 1st grow 178 g dry, done in a wardrobe.

would 125w cfl's work for 1 or 2 plants (blue for veg, red for flower)??

yes. working for me. watch out on the size though, mine are the big cfls. they cover about 3 small seedling pots but will only just about cover 2 big, full size ones

If you wanted to upgrade your lighting in terms of the number of plants you have, that would allow some increasing in number in the future and considering your space restrictions. I would go with a 400 W MH/HPS.

since ur a nooby go to home depot or wal.mart and buy those 23watt cfl bulb its like 4 for 8$ so get like 8 bulbs and some y splitters 2 and an outlet transformer if needed total cost should be under 30$ and should work great add more light during flower for bomb buds
