never messed with anything outside of soil but i really wana give dwc a try from my understanding the biggest issue with any hydro set up is keeping the ph right is that true also what other worries are there and what would be a simple nute for a small dwc setup

General Hydroponics, any 3 part nute formula really will work. PH should be checked and adjusted to 5.8 ideally daily. Frozen water bottles to regulate temps. Use rapid rooter plug to start your seedlings in and then transplant to a net pot 3" will work or you can go larger. I like my roots to hit the water fast so I use a 3" net pot with hydrotron rocks to support the rooter plug / rockwool whatever medium you happen to use.

Pay attention to what weedler said. Gen Hydroponics is great to start with, and the PH should be adjusted every 24 hours. Dont make the mistake of constantly chasing the PH.

Spend some time and make a quality res that is proper size with no light leaks, and you'll save yourself some headache. Get a PPM meter and learn how to use the data you collect from it. Read through a DWC tutorial so you can anticipate the process. If you run into problems you have lots of support here.
