I see your also from the UK, btw i do have trays at the bottom (little orange ones from B&Q). Just a quick question from a fellow british citizen...what do you think the likely hood of me getting caught with 2 plants is?

I heard 2 and under is a slap on the wrists, and confiscated. But, with lights and fans and such, it's hard to tell, might think you're a dealer and that's a different kettle of fish me 'ol china!

probably closer to like 23w and 16w or something
the 100 and 75 are there incandescent comparibles lumen wise...
just fyi... you're gonna need more light...

Yeah i know, but problem is: its an old wardrobe and didnt wanna have to start cutting holes...bad enough i had to drill them for the powersupply. At the moment i just open the door every so often. Would that be the reason why one the the plants leaves are curling inwards?

i have a simliar box for my veggin plants. you have to vent that bitch. and get more lights. cfls dont cut it if you want to grow dank. if ur worried about getting caught dont tell anyone. loose lips sink ships. just keep it to yourself and make it happen. i have a 250 mh in my box for my veg. it works great and my ambient box temp is usually 77 degrees. there are many factors to consider. if you go cheap, you grow cheap.

that is usually either one of two thing....
Over-nuting....due to added ferltilizer, or use of nuted soil
Under watering...is the soil damp at all? stick your finger in about an inch and see if moist.
Just looked back and they dont seem to be drooping at all...
Have you fed them yet? If so, that would most likely be your problem

I havent used any nutes, because i bought some miracle grow soil that apparently "feeds them for 3 months" and "makes plants grow twice as big" what can say im a sucker for commercials lol.... Is that type of soil really that bad?
Also does it matter that the soil is not filled to the very top of the pot, at the moment its a bout 3/5's of the way there but i ran out of soil.

ya, i dont think that soil is any good for seedlings....maybe ok when plants are bigger, but for now those plants dont need any nutes...not until the coytldon (sp?) leaves fall off. I havent heard anything but bad news about miracle grow soil around here. Most people try it, then ask why their plants are frying.
Not a problem at all.
My judgement is telling me to transplant those babies asap before they fry beyond return.

Not happy to hear that seeing as i just went to B&Q and bought more of the stuff lol, anyway im going to see what happens.In the future i will probably buy organic soil. But i actually wanted to grow outdoors, but i got interested in growing at the wrong time of year. Im now hoping that the year goes by as quickly as possible.
How bad can it be i mean at the end of the day its only a weed that grows in any conditions.

Nothing wrong with miracle grow soil as long as its miracle grow moisture control the other miracle grow stuff not so good.Your gonna ahve to have some fans in there and some air outlet and intake. Your using the red spectrum cfls and need to be the blue/white spectrum for veg so wrong color light and yeah those arent real 100 watt or 75 watt lights but supposedly equal too as the actual 65 watt cfls are about 8 inches long.So you will need lot more light.The pots are a little small which means tyransplants will need to happen I prefer starting in my final pots.You phing your water before it goes in and checking after it comes out?Miracle grow works good these were started in miracle grow and are about 15 days old in these pics.

This is just a bit of fun until next june when i plan to plant some seeds outdoors... Im still gonna carry on with these though just to see what i can produce...i knew that the lights were not strong enough, so i covered the whole wardrobe in Mylar hoping this would fix the problem. Cheers for your advice anyway.
