Warning* Speedrun Genetics *Warning

I want to share my experience with the breeder Speedrun. I normally run Mephisto and Night Owl genetics, and have been happy with both. So, I hear about Speedrun and decided I'm going to give them a try. I get to their store and find they have a good selection to work with. However, with this being someone I'm new to, I would just stay with one 3 pack and see how things play out. I picked out Granite Haze F6 3 pack normally 45. Me being new gets a discount and the beans cost 37.00. After not getting a confirmation, I checked to see if the charge went thru and it did. After 5 days I sent an email asking about tracking. I get a response from Ken the owner. Ken states they are in the midst of moving locations and my order was not sent. I was ok with it, but he checked out why this all took place and was very apologetic when he emailed back. He told me of how crazy things were but, Informs me he had my charge canceled, is still sending me my order, free of charge and giving me a $100.00 store credit! How fucking nice is that? So I got my free order today. It comes with my 4 that I ordered and 8 other seeds. This is customer service at it's best. Rest assured Ken at Speedrun is legit. I urge you to take a look and see. He has some really interesting projects happening at Speedrun.

Ben is a stand up guy . I had an order in shipping limbo for 10-11 days . He replaced my order , gave me an additional free tester and extra seeds , the next day my initial order came as well !
Super helpful guy , who is the reason I’m running autopots and boy am I glad he did convince me .

next grow will be two speedrun autoflowers and two night owl autoflowers . Can’t wait

Seems everyone loves the GH and is a favorite strain from SRS.

My tester is GHF5 X purple punch X iced latte , if I recall correctly , and sounds amazing to me lol .

Edit : terp sneeze is a home run - you won’t be disappointed

Why are you putting Warning in your title? What is there to warn about?
It got your attention. Did it not? I just want as many as can see that Ben is a straight up breeder. Because of a very small error on their part, for my $80.00 spent he is giving me 7 different 4 packs. Who else that has quality genetics, has that kind of customer service? You hear and read the negative stories about people's experience. It's nice to find the good ones too.

Most people don't read the articles, just the headlines.

I have a Speedrun issue currently I hope resolves soon, with a couple of orders with mixed tracking numbers. One order I received but the tracking on the package was for my larger order. So I have the tracking on the product I received and tracking it hoping it is my larger order, but it has been in USPS limbo now for 5 days since its original delivery due date which was 4 days earlier and doesn't seem to be getting any closer to me.

I have sent 2 emails to Speedrun without response and a text message as well. Hoping maybe this move is the only reason I haven't heard back yet. The missing product were Granite Haze F6, Goldengun and a special BF Freebie deal he had. So again giving him time to get back to me hopefully soon.

This was my 3rd order, first one was Frosted Cheerios, came really quick maybe 4 days tops, and nice add in of Terpe Sneeze. I really like his grows and products.

UPDATE: Speedrun has reached out to me and the issue is getting resolved. He is in the middle of a move and advised he has had some issues with USPS lately as well as email issues. I will strongly support them and there products, without hesitation. Growing pains are good but sometimes frustrating for everyone. Great response from them and I am content to wait a little.

I am sure it will get resolved for you. It was taking me 8 to 10 days to get my order in from Oregon. That was in October, so I can imagine as close to the Holidays as what it is, mail and sm. packages are a little delayed. They are good about emails, always got replies within 2 to 3 days. I was getting spoiled with North Atlantic Seed. I could at times order from them on a Thursday and get my order on Monday. Don't know your location but Oregon to Ohio is a good bit of traveling.

Speedrun has reached out to me and all is good. I even put an update on my post response above yours.

I knew they would. Ken is a legit breeder. Very knowledgeable and if you have ANY questions at all, it might be a day or two but he will get you all situated. Just email him direct. Super nice dude. Don't be a stranger, keep us updated on how the speedrun genetics grow for you! GL

Hopefully, your State in which you reside is able to see the light. Ohio went recreational for sales in August. In just 5 months have topped over $200 million in sales. Ohio gets 15% in tax.
Well I did see where Medical is up on the issues for 2025 as of last week, so it's a start! Hoping DJT reclassifies it as a misdemeanor on the federal level as well VS the how it is classified now.

Could be wrong, but I do not see it ever being legal at the Federal level. I think it will always be left up to a State by State case. Ohio was legal for Medical sales back in 2016 and just went Recreational this year. A coalition here in Ohio was relentless at getting signatures to have it placed on the ballot so Ohio voters could vote it in. Ohio politicians were never going to legalize it on their own. Vote passed 60% to 40%. . That is what you need to happen. Let the people speak.

I heard that Ohio is trying to back track now on product potency allowed and growing restrictions.

They can't really do much. What the political minds are referring to is, the fact you can go to gas stations and purchase some gummies and things that were not all worked out when the voters voted in recreational use. As far as changing the number of plants you may grow. 6 plants per person with a 12 plant max per household. That was the wording put in by the politicians when it passed. To be honest our Governor is done (term limit) this year. It would amount to a political death wish for a new candidate to say "we need to change what the voters passed." Ain't no politicians going to try to go down that road. Might as well look for a different line of work. We are talking about a half BILLION dollars in sales per year. The State gets 15% off the top. And does literally nothing. Where are you to look to replace that kind of money?

In the end you will be disappointed. The state always screws up whatever it touches.
California had a great system that was pilfered by the government to replace lost revenue when companies got sick of the BS and left the state. Now California is back to the majority buying black market weed and now even drug wars are back over pot.
Our largest ( ohio ) pot retailer ia a billion dollars in debt and they are spreading the dirt mids everywhere. Adult use was going to save the retail stores but when people stand in a 45-90 minute line to by a mid quality for 50% more than street well lets just say it aint working out to well. Most stores are slow and the discounts to move product are increasing. A quality oz can be had for $120 but again its close to the same cost as street and most street guys will meet you 1/2 way on a pickup that takes 2 minutes.
The best thing for adult use was self grow but again this is a administration law that can be changed at any time. We saw a few growers lobby to have that eliminated and they will do this every 2 years.

In other news......... Aliens.

TBO I am good with the new set up for recreational. Have been partaking for almost almost 50 years and last bought bud, over 20 years ago. Look into Meigs County skunk from 70's and 80's. Grew up in McArthur bout 30 miles from there. Not going to lie. You want to buy street smoke, hope your go to dosen't start to make a lil more on the side and start selling shit like H or oids. Things can get a lil risky sometimes.

Not in Ohio but once you get the green light to grow you’re golden. Never really need to step foot in a dispo unless you need pens or gummies.

Personally I dont like seeing all the thc* stuff they sell in the gas stations and vape stores. In my state, I know for a fact that a ton of that stuff goes through zero regulation. I actually know a guy who sells and sprays that weed they sell. He does it in his garage. It is illegal I am sure. Nice guy but I wouldnt touch that crap.

It got my attention a few days ago as well. I just passed by the thread and thought that Speedrun would just be another outfit to avoid. I'm guessing I'm not the only one. I'm not sure if the title of the thread is doing exactly what you believe it's doing for everybody. Good thing I decided to open the thread to see what was up with this outfit.

Just a thought.
