Wash Hot Soil

Hey Guys,
I started my first 2 Autoflowers about a month ago in Plagron Royalmix which led me to have problems with nutrient burn/lockout which I resolved by letting water run through the substrate. Plants are doing much better now. Can I wash the soil remaining in the bag to make my own seed starter for future plants?

I would cut it with a lighter soil and mix well.

Kinda forced to work with what I got, bought a whole bunch of stuff to save on shipping so I dont want to pay extra for another bag.

I would've suggested adding dirt from your garden or yard, but you might get bugs and wild weed seeds.
