Washington state please help where is my light from???

so i pickep up this metal halide light system i just dont know how many watts it is cause thats the one thing they didnt mark it only show 400 or 1000 but the bulb that came with it was a 250 and i dont really wanna run what its not made for but i dont know what one it is. so my question is who is SM, inc, located in mukilteo washington i would like to call them to see if they know what watt it is cause the serial number is sorta readable so any helps thanks my guess 400 from the size of the hood but i dunno i have looked every where onlin for SM, inc and cant find any thing

The bulb must match the ballast, which doesn´t appear to be the case here. Hope you didn´t pay a lot for it. Good luck with getting it sorted, anyway.

no i got a killer deal on the whole set up so im not freaking out if i have to get adifferent bulb i just want to find out what bulb i need

You will just have to open it up and look @ the transformer label. I say, 400, bulb is wayyyyy too small for 1000.

the bulb is a 250 so u think i need the 400 i did too cause a 1000 coudnt even fit in that hood
