What’s up growers? I experienced an equipment failure on my 2-1/2 HP Penguin Water Chiller yesterday. I’m looking to see what chillers people are running and looking for feedback. My Penguin chiller failed twice within about 4 months of actual run time, so that brand is out and I’d recommend to anyone and everyone to stay away from that company if you value your hard earned dollars and need reliable equipment.
Also if anybody has done some DIY Water Chiller setups or refrigerator conversions, please feel free to chime in. I have an extra mini-fridge that I may try converting until I get a proper solution sorted out. I’m going to need to cool approximately 5000 btu ( about 1500W) in a 25 gallon cooler/reservoir.
