water curing, changing water

i'm dabbling in water curing (found a spot of mold on some realllllly dense nugs from my past grow :( ... drying before cure is KEY ..lesson learned). i understand the process, but i'm wondering if it would benefit me to changes the water multiple times a day vs. once a day? i notice the water already changing color after two - three hours. i'm still worried about mold so would changing the water more often decrease chances of mold forming? also would it possibly speed up the cure?

Unless the weed isn't completely submerged you don't have to worry about mold. I'm sure you'd be fine with just changing each day, but if you want to do it more i'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

Untrue both mold and fungi ,grow and live underwater

I would remove any sight of contamination first , no matter the drying tech

My understanding of the water curing tech. is that you are relying on bacteria to break down the chrolophyl and lignin to a water soluble fourm that can be drained away with the water . I would think (quessing) that changing the water to much would drain away the bulk of your bacteria that are working on the chrorophyl and lignin as well as the naturaly occuring sugars and starches that the bacteria feed off of

I would look into hemp processing tech. , One of the ways in which they proccesed hemp was a 'water cure' to break down the plant into fiber , during this process water was almost never changed so the bacteria could do its job
