Hi i am starting a soil grow outdoors and my tap water is very hard 570+ ppm also ph 8,5 so i am thinking water them with bottle water from my local sm.
A cheap bottle mineral water that i found with ph 7,32 (i will use ph down) and caco3 242mg/lt also say 475μS/cm some analyses from the bottle also say ca++ 93.7 mg++2.1 Na+ 4.5 k+ 1.30 Nh<0.05 and HCO3- 288.4 CL- 7.1 SO4-2<5 NO3-5.95 NO2-<0.05.
I can;t buy a filter right now so is this a good water to use with ph down in soil?If not what i am looking for? thanks.

fill bucket with tap water let stand fr 24hours ph your water and take no noticeof the ppm of the tap water as its reading dead salts so if your water is ppm of 570ppm and you want a true ppm reading of say 500ppm you total will be 570+500 witch is 1070ppm but its acutaly only 500 cos the rest is dead useless salts

I agree your tap water will work fine. Letting it sit over night will rid the water of chlorine. If possible use an air pump with an air stone to speed up the process and aerate the water

i always let it sit 24 hours with 2x air stones and pump running for the 02 to get into the water or you can use 02 tablets that dissolve but wouldn't recommend them

when i used coco i used to do a 3 day cycle feed/water/dry up/ this then flushes and dosnt let the salts build up in the pot
