Water Temp for Germinating

I know 22 Celsius is best for root growth. But what is the best temp for starting my seeds?

I'm just going to put the seeds in my medium and see if they go. I'm not going to waste time with paper towel and other shit. If they go they go. If they do go I wont have to waste more time transferring.

Optimum temperatures for starting seeds are?

Thanks in advance!

I used room temperature RO water the only 2 times I germinated seeds in 75-80 soil, worked fine. Don't know if luke warm would really increase or decrease time, I wouldn't use ice cold water..

After googling your question, I came across a study done by USC.
http://www.usc.edu/CSSF/History/2005/Projects/J1607.pdf

"Results

In the room temperature tests, the sweet corn germinated the most seeds. In the hot temperature tests, the
watermelon seeds germinated the most. In the cold temperature tests, the sweet corn again germinated the
most seeds. The cantaloupe and green bean seeds did not germinate well in the hot and cold temperatures.
All four seed types germinated well at room temperature.
Conclusions/Discussion
The different water temperatures did affect the number of seeds that germinated. The cold water had the
most adverse effect on each seed type. The hot water almost halted all germination in the cantaloupe
seeds. The long-term exposure to water in general had an adverse effect on every seed type in comparison
to the results that were listed on the back of each seed packet. I guess water, and it's temperature can alter
seed germination rates.

Ofcourse that was not cannabis seeds so, pretty much assume generally room temperature is probably commonly used. I see basic trend of threads about this being that room temperature seems to be most effective at germination rates among different types of seeds, although some types of seeds can handle hot/cold conditions, probably by genetics from geographical locations and such.
