Waterfarm 8-Pack: Reservoir and Controller

So I'm about to transplant from ebb and flow to waterfarm 8-pack, but for the life of me I can't grasp how to fill the sucker up and add nutrients. Do I prepare it in the reservoir? My best guess is to fill the controller and buckets with tap water and the prepare a solution in the reservoir to be introduced throughout the week? Thanks for your help

i just googled the thing and had a look, i'd say you mixed it all up in the res, then just pop it back together and its gonna pump up water/feed as and when its needed or at whatever the timer schedule is set. heres a link that says the res has the nutes and is fed from there-http://homeharvest.com/hydrosysghdripsystems.htm

Thanks guys they only dedicate one short paragraph to how it operates in the manual. Also would putting a water pump in the controller outlet be the same as the recirculation upgrade? I got a bunch laying around.
