i am new at indoor growing and need to know how often i should water my seedlings. i have 1 hymalayan gold and 1 supersilver haze. each one is in a 5 gallon planters bucket. and each one is just over half way full with soil to give you an idea of what im working with. i just put the germinated seedlings in the soil 5 days ago. i know they are big buckets to work with but the transplanting dont work in my favor yet. i just want to get these babies growing to learn their ways. then when they are in full vegetative mode how often should i water them?? every 3 to 4 days??

The seedlings wont need it very often in such a big container if you get the soil good and wet the first time. After your plants get big you will be watering frequently. You can tell they need it when the bucket gets lighter.

I always stab my finger in the soil like a high school boy with his first girlfriend. If it's dry, she gets water. Indoor plants require A LOT of watering. That's not to say you should be drowing them. For example, I have 15 plants, each in their own 5 gal. bag. I will usually spread 4 gallons around in a day. When they have a big growing spurt I may spread 6 gallons around. They are loving it.
