Hi, I'm not sure how much I should water a plant in 11lt pots in first week of flower. I was giving 500ml per pot every 2 days before transplant, but I'm not sure how much I should expect to water them now. I'm growing them in coco coir. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it

How big are your plants and the type of lighting you are using? I grow in coco in 5 gallon smartpots for the big plants I have in a Scrog and water my plants everyday. You want to hit 10%-20% run off. I give my plants anywhere from half a gallon to a gallon and a half. Just depends on how much they are drinking.

I always lift the pot a bit to feel the weight. Some plants drink more than others.
I learn what the weight should feel like when they need watering.
But I guesstimate your figures looks like what I use generally .

Edit: sorry, see you do cocos, the same does not apply. I do soil. Run off as post above is what I did the few times I did cocos. Worked fine.

Ive always watered slow till a small amount of runn off finds its way to under pot plate an just leave that there... Will soak it up within a day as water evens out in pot

We dont decide how much it drinks we are told by the plant after we water it...

Thank you for answering my post, and sharing your knowledge. I am very grateful. I am anxious of over-watering because my last grow wasn't a success due to it. Thanks again : )
