Thought I would document the making of my WCAP-Water Soluble Calcium Phosphate
I used a Serrano Ham Bone which I charred cooked until all the organic matter was burnt off and left with heavily charred bone which is down to its mineral content only, this took 3hrs approximately with constant attention and turning. This is my second attempt, last go I did not get the bone charred correctly so there was very little reaction when vinegar was added. Some pics of the process thus far, to be continued…..
