Week 3 lighting questions

Now in week 3 and still searching for appropriate light height and intensity for the spider farmer sf2000. Plants received their first feeding of FF Big Bloom yesterday at 1/4 dose. I've light burned both slightly by following Spider Farmer recommendations. Raising and dimming the light has resulted in recovery although 1 leaf has a hole in it. Looks like a cigarette burn. Found an aphid under a leaf a week or so ago and promptly whacked it. Not sure if it was that particular leaf but starting to suspect that it was. That's it for pests other than a few fungus gnats. Rather than stabbing in the dark (or light in this case) I downloaded a lux app to get some idea of light intensity. Light is currently about 22" above canopy and about 30% shows about 9000 lux. Searching for proper lux for veg I see recommendations all over the place but generally about 40,000. Based on previous experience this would certainly BBQ these babies in short order at least at the current height. Should I shoot for the 40k lux at a greater height? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post but tried to provide adequate information. Thanks.
