Here is what the bulb is doing, it lights up for 30secs then shuts down, the core thing turns purple-ish and takes 2-3mins to reignite.
After 6 weeks of use the bulb dies?
Right now since its late, I can't go get a new one so to not miss a day of light I put in my 600w MH bulb in there until tomorrow.
I am kind of trying not to spend money right now, could I buy a bulb from Home Depot or Lowes?
That being said I run my ballast at 75% power because running at 100% would generate to much heat for my tent. I been told that running the ballast dimmed down kills the life of the bulb (might be true lol) so I am not sure to buy a cheap bulb to finish off the remaining 3 weeks or get something high end like a Hortilux but I don't want to risk killing the bulb running it dimmed.
EDIT: Read good review on this budget 600w hps made by ipower, I will pick that one up.
