Weird dimension grow space

Hello everyone. I am a new grower looking to design my first real set up. I have some plants going right now in soil almost ready to put into flowering.

So the dimensions that I have for growing are 2'x15'. What I plan on doing is running an ebb and flow hydro system with multiple 28" wide x 14" long tables all the way down the room. Reservoirs will be in the front of the room for easy access with the tubes running under the system to the trays. There is a gap in the middle so that I can crawl underneath the tables and check on the plants and prune when necessary.

So do you guys think that will work ok? I made sure that I would be able to reach all of the plants for pruning. I plan to go straight from clone to 12/12 so how do you guys think that I should light the room? I know that larger hps lights are more efficient (I believe) than lower wattage ones, but that seems impractical for my area since it is only 2 feet wide. But I also would not really want to buy multiple 400w or 250w hps bulbs. I am not really worried about heat issues, just want to do what is most efficient.

Also, what material would you guys recommend to contain the smell? I will probably use a carbon filter or something, but I still would be worried that the smell would penetrate the walls. So I would like to put up some sort of material on the walls to contain the smell? What do you guys think I should use?

Hopefully someone will be able to help a newb grower out!

So it will look something like this
