So i recently installed an a/c in my room to cool down my closet where my grow is. I'm using a 400 watt hps for the grow and I've run into a little problem.
It seems like 80% of the time whenever I turn on my ac, or when my ac "kicks into another gear" (makes a different sound like it's working hard) My 400 watt hps turns off almost completely and takes around 1-2 minutes to get back to full strength.
Theyre plugged into the same room but in different sockets and I'm wondering if I'm possibly using too much electricity for the room I'm in? I also have an 8 inch oscillating fan going but that can't be much of a difference.
Does anyone know what's going on or what I could possibly try to make this annoying problem go away? Thanks!
