Weird Pre-Flowers check it out...

So i just changed my lights back to HPS and put it on a 12/12 light cycle about 7 days ago, and im seeing a bunch of weird things pop up on my plant. Ive seen males (multiple balls on a stick) and ive seen females (leaf like thing with a white hair or 2 coming out of it). To me, this plant is looking female, but some of the preflowers look rather odd to me, at the base there are 4 rather large leaf-like preflowers coming out where i originally topped it, no white hairs though. they are the size of a raisin. there is definitely one preflower at the top that has a small white hair coming from it,but the others are just trippin me out. tell me what you think... stay high ! peace!

Can't make out the "hair", but if it is where you have marked on your photo - it should be a girl.

it's perfectly normal. some strains have them some don't. for instance, my red cherry berry grows right along side my lsd, ak 48, blueberry, and white widow. the lsd and the ak 48 both show the small "leaf" you're describing, however my blueberry, widow and the cherry berry don't show them. from my experience strains bred with sativa's seem to have these more, but that may simply be a coincidence.

ill be posting some new pics of the progress, small buds forming now all over, and it smells danky as fuck ....definitely a major fan of LST.

that second pic is how I commonly see preflowers. They get incredibly plump, and will just stick nearly straight out of the node. Not all strains I have played with do this, but a good many do if I let them veg for any length of time.

cool good to know, im guessing this strain is just different from the ones ive previously harvested. the bud i got it from was extremely purple and sticky, im hoping for the same results but i also know that is wishful

Thats normal, nothing to worry about.

Finally harvested, grow went really well. the seed i got was from a bag of purple buds, some of the most purple ive ever seen, and it ended up showing some purple as well in the buds. took some pics check them out stay high
