I posted here a couple days ago and everything was going great. I woke up this morning and before I went to work everything was fine. They sleep for 6 hours while I'm at work and then by the time I get home the light is on. Have to say my heart sank when I checked when I checked on them today when I got home. I knew I needed to water them today but didn't think by waiting I'd come home to this.

The soil was pretty dry and it felt light when I picked it up so I watered it. Everything I'm reading though is making me think twice about doing so. What's done is done, I'm just hoping it survives. There's a some yellowing splotches on the lower leaves as well and the color the top leaves are turning are making me think it's PH or nutrients. They are 5 weeks old and I haven't used any extra nutrients on them. It's just been water. The medium is Ocean forest. So I'm kinda lost on what is actually good on here any advice is greatly appreciated.

If its been 5 weeks in FFOF with only water, then they are ready for supplemental nutrients.

I start my plants and keep mothers indoor in FFOF. I use GH MaxiGro and Maxibloom supplemented with Botanicare CalMag+, BluePlanet Easy Weed, WOW soluble humic/fulvic. I adjust pH down using ascorbic acid. I use tap water that comes out at about 200ppm and 8.4pH.

Leaves are sagging either from underwater or over water. You have the right idea about checking the weight to know when to water. When you water, saturate the soil. Then, wait for it to get significantly lighter before watering again.

Also, check thoroughly for pests under the leaves. Mites and thrips can mess your plants up bad. You must diagnose and get them under control before starting flower.

Good luck! ✌
