Took some snaps of what I think are pre-flowers on my two plants. I just switched my lights to 12/12 on Saturday. I’ve got girls right?

Yes your good. If you see those 2 hairs you got a female.

Males will have little balls in the same spot. Also a tale tale sign of a male is during flower those balls will appear earlier and the female buds will start to form a week or 2 later

Both pictures depict a female plant. The two white "pistils" are the female pre-flowers.

Thanks for the responses and the confirmation! Much appreciated.

Just a quick follow-up question: should I be checking all bud sites or are the female pre-flowers in one or two locations indicative of how the rest of the plant will be?

Unless you have a hermie you're fine. Good idea to scope the pre flower sites for any balls when you're just starting with a strain.

Will do. Right now I’m growing Girl Scout cookies and Blue Monster.
