What about those broad leaves?

I have been told to cut all of the broad leaves from my plants. Will this help grow bigger more potent buds?
I have also been told not to cut the broad leaves. This is my first grow so I have no idea at all. Can you smoke the leaves???

Leave them on the plant until harvest.

yes leave em bigger fan leaves generally mean a more indica dominant plant

just cut off dead/dying leaves..
they need them to make food
