I posted this in Griz's "pest" thread first, but got no responses.

So, what am I?

Could be predatory insects (beneficial) because they have been around for a while and everything looks fine.

confirm root aphids. good luck. lots of people have them, they are infesting everybody. and they will kill your roots.
probably the hardest bug to get rid of
1) they asexually lay live pregnant young
2) they fly and lay eggs that can survive over winter and hatch next year

the only thing i am hearing that works is liquid pyrethums, met 52, botaniguard, bayer tree and shrub or merit 75 (systemic chemy).

i am trying mighy wash, then adding met 52 fungus

still trying to figure out how to get rid of the eggs. hope i dont have to buy all new equipment...hopping the met52 will keep them dead when they try to enter the soil.

don't lady bugs eat aphids and their eggs . you can get them super cheep from a feed farm store . They sell them in like a sponge thing you get it wet and they come to life and eat the bad bugs when the food runs out they die off . This info is worth only what you paid for it as i am new to this as well . Just sec hand info . I am sure the local pros will back me or straighten me out on this .

ladybugs only eat ones above the soil
these stay mostly in the soil and eat your roots.

take action now. by week 4-5 you will not have any roots left and your plants wont mature
