That's the type of question from someone who has a lot of homework before starting to grow, but it is an important one.

Depends on you grow method.

So many nuts and it really comes down to what the plant wants and how u are growing hydro/soil. I use sensi bloom A+B as my main nuts and then for additives i use, Silica Blast, Aquashield, and Gravity by humboldt county's own

Get a grow or 2 under your belt with base nutes so you know if the stuff you do get actualy even works or needed.

Dyno-gro Bloom, General Hydroponics MaxiBloom, Alaska MorBloom, Fox Farm, Canna, Advanced Nutrients, Roots Organic, Bio-whatever-their-called, etc... So many choices. This year I'm running Xnutrient's line because they're cheap and last year they did just as well as Advanced Nutrients Sensi line when I ran them. Homebrewer has some good grows using Dyno-Gro and Advanced Nutrients. Good enough that I might give Dyno-Gro a run next year.

If you find a grower's journal that you like, see if you can follow them. Especially if their active in the forums and respond to you. That way if you get stuck, you have someone who can help you out. A few people PM me privately with questions. I'll answer stuff if I know the answers. Sometimes I might even refer you to someone else if I happen to know they know more about something.
