What are they and how do I exterminate them

I just started seeing these tiny white bugs in my soil, they havent done anything to the plants yet and they seem to stay down in the soil. At first i thought that the spider that was living around the plants had babies, but they arent growing or leaving, so not spiders... Is there anyway i can get rid of them without spending too much? Hope the picture is clear enough. Thanks

I did some research, i found they might be root aphids?? is this correct? I need some expert advice on these things

My guess is that its not an aphid but idk sorry

I dont see any cornicles and the antenna look like they are pointed in the wrong direction but im not expert when it comes to root aphids.

I'll try to get something for some better pictures. I tried to fix up the best picture i have as of now... Maybe it will help

Ive never delt with bugs yet but i read some people put sand on top of soil to smother them.i could be wrong tho

HEY !! I had them 3 days ago. because I get stoned and water them water to heavy in the veg room. my cure was. get your spray bottle. mix teaspoon neem oil per 12 ounces water. 4 teaspoons bleach. teaspoon dish soap. spray the soil . and let it dry up before you water. your watering to much . your correct they don't climb onto the plant or stem which is strange. and I dug up roots they are not eating them ? they must be eating the nitrojen in your fertilizer or the wet wood . I did a lot of reading on them as well could not find a damn thing so stop searching. if my home made bug killers don't work hit the hrdro store get some real stuff. they will get out of control fast. I used my set up worked in 5 hours all dead still dead.

yes. some body posted above my post. sand does help . those bugs hate sand its dry and no food. but they will go search for food else where. so spray
