What causes droopiness?

This was my plant last year before someone stole it and I never had a chance to figure this out and I found some old pictures and was wondering what could have caused this?

Im with him and its very common in the morning as the plant droops when a sleep in the night and starts to lift when sun comes.

What causes droopiness?
