Well that would be part of the vegging stage, which is the blue spc....but honestly even if u use a red spc. I don't think ur gonna see much diff in sprouts..

I use a 50/50 mix in my box because of they way I have my lights mounted. After all we are trying to fool em with our lights so you would want the spectrum to be mixed, just like the sun. From what I have read about this, it seems that a 70/30(6500k/2700k) is what is rite for these girls in veg. When I move em to flower I switch it up the other way 70/30(2700k/6500k).

here is a link that explains what par is (spectrum) is and how plants use it.https://www.rollitup.org/blogs/blog45-truely-understanding-lights-par-watts.html/https://www.rollitup.org/blogs/blog46-truely-understanding-lights-par-watts.html

Hope it helps.

For vegetation use 6500k lights, this is blue'er light, and the plants like that in veg. When you go to flowering use 2700k, this is in the more red spectrum.

Wal-Mart has a pack of 2x 26w 6500k light bulbs for like $6. Use those for veg.

Let your plant pop through the soil before you start messing with the lights.

The sun doesn't have mixed spectrum light dude, it's all the same temperature and produces the same color. It's just the angle of the earth to the sun, and how the earths atmosphere filters or reflects certain spectrum of light. Thats why it's 'normal' color during noon, and when the sun is setting the sunset is a red/orange color.
