What did i do?

Very new to growing here.. Im currently experimenting with topping and lst. Gameplan is to grow the shortest but biggest yeilding plant possible in my 2x2 closet space. Ive never grown shit before but i find it very relaxing and has brought a lot of peace to my life. Okay so i dont know much and i did the best i could considering ive never touched a plant with scissors before and i was very nervous. I went to top my 4th node off 2 days ago and i accidentally got it in the wrong spot. I also cut it way to close to the lower node. I didnt think she would even live but she started growing almost immediately. Now theres this weird type of growth coming out of the nodes where i cut it at.. It almost looks like a tiny piece of bud or little hairs. Its still to young for it to be female or male parts id imagine. I think shes close to 3 weeks above ground. Any comments on what that is and whats the best course to take with this plant after i hacked her to death.

LST is better than topping in my opinion. But you've already topped. So the advice I give is "you are fine". It's damn near impossible to kill cannabis from trimming. It's gonna be in shock for a bit but just make sure to sing to it and read it bed time stories and you'll be fine.

It will do OK .just leave it a couple weeks to recover u will soon have another 2 growths there my grow has gone through hell and still OK .

Thanks guys in gonna do her a favor and just leave her be for a while lol. I put a drop of superthrive in her water today and hopefully thatll help

start with a good soil... you shouldn't have to use anything for a month... with cannabis less is more when they are babies

To me it just looks normal, like your next two shoots coming up.
Once they get about 10cm I'd start lst, pulling them out away from each other, maybe even topping again.
