What do i need to do to make my Outdoors Grow More like Hydro speed plants?

Ive grown a few outdoors before and come up with some interesting light reflectors and natural nutrients to help feed and protect the plants...
but their just too darn slow!

:?: What specific factors it that makes hydro get BIG so much quicker?
:clap: And what can i do to make my Outdoors more like this.. naturally..?

key to hydro is there is no soil medium to interfear with roots, hydro=100% root exposure to water and nutrients so full uptake. maybe add high ammounts of perlite to soil ratio to help. ive seen these new pots that might help as well forgot the name tho, its like a mesh/web barrel of balls, gives better airation and lets roots grow out everywhere

-- In soil, the roots have to go to the food. In hydroponics, the food is constantly available directly to the roots. Oxygen also helps roots to absorb nutrients - in hydroponics, oxygen is easily supplied to the root zone; oxygen is not as abundant in soil.

-- You can prepare your grow area outdoors, before planting, by amending or even replacing the soil they will be growing in. Depending on the local soil, your amendment can be tailored to increase oxygen by increasing drainage (esp. in clay type soils) or to even trade-off oxygen availability in order to slow drainage (esp. in sandy type soils).

If you can visit your outdoor plants every couple of days to feed though, I've always wanted to try making a modified hempy bucket out of a 5-gallon bucket or larger (with hydroton or lava rock) and burying it. instead of one hole 2" above the bottom - make holes all over the bucket except for the bottom 2".

Use a medium that breathes and drains better. Like maybe half perlite and half soil? Use synthetic, water-soluble nutes like DynaGro or Jacks Classic.

Yeah, i was thinking of making a outdoor type setup where the roots are soaking in water.
- maybe with a cloth pot with root holes and in a bucket of water
- or a plastic container with holes for roots to come out into water bucket

but how wouldn't it suffer root rot?
:?:How would you go about doing it?
