What do you think?

What do you think 'God', the spirit world, and souls are? What characteristics do you assign to them and how do you think they function?

I'd prefer no textbook religious explanations but I cant stop you, post if you must. Theres truth in all of them after all.

To the atheists, try to use what you think spawned these beliefs, imagination. If you are wrong, what do you think it would be like?

As you know, I think they are quirks of our wiring, entirely contained within us and only spuriously Other.

If I am wrong, I don't foresee negative consequences. If there really is a spirit-principle, I find it reasonable to expect that it is truly transcendent and not interested in ... enforcement, or trapped by our famished myths. cn

the world may never know

it could have been a piece of dust that gathered mass and sucked everything in

which sounds just as crazy/possible as an omnipotent being making everything.

Hell maybe the first happened and created a world somewhere else, and one day they made a world somewhere else that is everything we know it today. or so we think.

no body knows but if there is a god who is unreachable then how could he blame us for not believing in him.

so hopefully either way theres no repercussions hahaha

I think there are negative consequences for some, but it is not a punishment by a higher power. I believe every bad decision you make that you dont learn from, or refuse to learn from, will do more damage do your character/soul than anyone else. No matter how bad you harm someone, you are doing more harm to yourself (I cant help but think Socrates had some metaphysical meaning when talking about things like that). If you keep following that chaotic path then you will turn into an angry, sad, mean, bitter, egotistic soul that is only out to get his while obliviously destroying himself. He will be attracted to hellish dimensions against his will, because that is where his soul fits best. Then theres people that made many mistakes, harmed people, lived a chaotic lifestyle but eventually learned from all of it. Learned to love. They would be attracted to a heavenly dimension because that is where they fit best.

I think of "God" as basically being the rules of psychics that control everything in one way or another. Even though we don't really understand them fully yet, one way or another I figure they're the reason everything is the way it is.

The other two, I haven't really thought about. kinda tricky.

I think I see what you're saying. I accept the embedded compliment: you don't think I'm in this to be a meanie. Thank you. cn

I believe God is the ultimate being of everything. I think the soul is what makes me me and you you. I think the spirit world is the place the souls that either God does not want yet or you have alot of unfinished business and can not leave earth yet I do not think this is the Heaven people talk about. Heaven to me is a place where no one judges and no one harms others.

You think the spirit world is where god puts the souls that still need experience and knowledge before going into heaven? What happens in this spirit world? Is it the world of ghosts where souls creep on the physical people? lol. Surely some experience has to be gained from this spirit world that is separate from heaven.

Questions that can't be answered are fun to think about, even more to discuss and share.... but to try to answer them is absurd.

but at the same time we are thinking similar

thats what i meant by US. everything we think,do,love, discuss.

Thought is god, souls, the spirit world.

If everything was taken away from us all wed have is our thoughts and those would be highest ruler of all

even over physics if one could think in the right manner.
