What Growing Medium To Use?

Well it's now 24 hrs since switching to the Advance Nutrients Sensi A & B vegatation program. There is definetly a noticeable difference in color, health and growth.

I've been watching the Urban Grower Urban Grower | Advanced Nutrients Medical | Medicinal Marijuana Cultivation Information

I'm excited because I plan on running 2 1000 watt HPS lights with 9 plants under each light. A yeild of 3 to 4 oz per plant would be sweet.:hump:

I'm going to have a 800 CFM fan pulling air from a Can 100 carbon scrubber then cooling my lights and venting into attic crawl space. I will also be running CO2.

My original plan was to use Multi Flow Hydroponic System, but will these pots @ 2 gallons support plants yielding 3-4 oz of bud?

Multi Flow Hydroponic System - Greentrees Hydroponics

Any idea on other systems you would recommend.

The plants they are growing on Urban Grower are utilizing 7 gallon pots and they're also planting in soil.

Here's a link to my 1st growth report. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/43558-1st-grow-week-1-1-a.html

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I woke up with a revelation in the middle of the night.

I can't grow those monster buds in my room because my ceilings are only 8' tall. DUH!!!!!

My plants can't be any taller than 24" going into flower, They should double in size in flower and with a 1000 watt HPS light needing to be 36" away from the top of the plant. The plant 4' tall, the light 36" from the top and 12" for light housing.

Maybe I should look to use 3 600 watt HPS instead of 2 1000 watt because of cieling hight.

Some ideas please.

What is the size of the room. I like 3 600 watts better personally but you lose out on 200 watts that way. I would let the size of the room make the choice for me.

I have a total of 12x5x8 available for flowering. I'm probably going to use an 8x5x8 area for flowering. I just don't want to grow any more than that.

I'm concerned about ceiling height and 1000 watters growing my plants to tall for my room.

Thanks for the feedback.
