What Happens If...............

I have my plants in flowering ( 12/12 ) but i cant get back to turn the lights on and my plants where left in darkness for 24 - 36 hours. would they die or could they make it ands if so, would this do anything to the plant i.e revert back to veg, deformed growth, slow growth.

naw you'll be alright.. some people will claim that if their fem'd seeds then there is a possibility of hermi'ing but I wouldn't worry about it

You're good, when i put my ladies into flowering they get 48 hours of straight darkeness and then twice a month I give them darkness for 24 hours

Herming from really dodgy genetics would be the only thing to worry about but there aren't that many companies or beans that are so shaky. Good lesson to spend the $5 and buy a timer though

lol yeah! i got a timer but i hav'nt sorted my temps out so as soon as the lights kick on, i gotta be there to open up the tent and open up the vents or my babies will fry. so aint really much point for the timer at present...

Yeah, im curious as to the reasoning for this! Just because i've never read about that anywhere. Are there specific benefits?

On a personal level, the darkness is all bull shit.

I'd say try to limit doing that but they should be fine. "Herming" may become possible, I guess, just also not something I feel too strongly about either.

Timers win, try to find a way for it to work for you.

some people believe that the darkness forces the plant to pump out more trichs, or resin. i however don't use the method
