Seriously has anyone ever seen a seedling like this. Look closely it popped and had three non serrated leaves where there are usually two. I've germed a lot of seeds but have never seen anything like this before. It's a feminized black jack auto from Sweet Seeds.View attachment 1842585

yeah just thought I'd share. I've had plenty of autos with mutant leaves where they split half way up the leaf into their own fingers instead of splitting at the stem but never a mutant from the get go.

It's really not that uncommon, actually. ;)

no shit, well thought I had something special. I guess when it comes down to it I've really only germed about 100 seeds throughout the course of my hobby gardens. Thanks Carne

That's even odder is that an auto or a photo period plant?

weird man. I've heard of autos doing that sometimes when the roots get damaged as seedlings or if they don't get enough light from the get go but never on a photoperiod. The bulk of my growing has been playing around with autos so can't help you but am interested to see where that goes. If you don't mind, please post a pic in this thread about two weeks from now.

alright i will be sure to do that. thats bout when im going to start flowering it

I've seen those.
They're rare, but not unheard of.
I wonder if the plants are polyploid in some way (ie have 3 sets of chromosomes, instead of two).
