What is going on with my plants!!?? Heat Stress?

High there! I have been growing (in soil) for almost a year now, and have had several successful harvests. However, lately my plants seem to be burning from the inside out, not long after I put them in the tent to flower. I had three plants that were fine until about the 5th week of flowering when the buds and leaves turned brown and stopped growing. I pulled them out of the tent last week and am attempting to re-veg until I figure out the problem. I am suspecting heat stress because the temp in the tent was getting into the 90's at some point in the day. We have since bought a portable air conditioner, and now temp does not go above 82 in the tent, with humidity between 50-60. This particular plant (see photo attached), is in it's 4th week of flowering, and hasn't done a thing except grow bright green, mis-shapen leaves where buds should be forming. Is this new growth due to the temp correction, and should I let it go? Or, is there a bigger problem I am not aware of? My ph is fine, but I have stopped nutes for now, because it just seems to make the problem worse. Please Help! Thx.

Thanks for your replies! I guess I just had beginners luck last year when we had a horrible heat wave and my plants came out of it ok for some reason. Any suggestions on how I can quickly reduce the soil temp without throwing them into shock?

Thx, BuCannabis. I have some cal-mag I bought toward the end of my last harvest when things started going downhill when the temps started going up--- so I will try that. Any suggestions on how to quickly bring the soil temp down without throwing them into shock?

And FYI for anyone into trying all different strains, like me.......
The heat obliterated my LSD, Pineapple Express, and most of my Wonder Woman and Northern Lights. However, P.O.W. 33 did not seem affected and the Liberty Haze actually seemed to thrive in it. Go figure.

Thats not down to heat buddy, my grow tent sometimes goes up to 90* and i keep my humidity at 60% and my plants always turn out great. 90* is too hot but the plants can cope with that, raise the light/s a little and get a small clip on fan to blow on your light, this helps a lot.
