I have the sentinel cch4i and I am not impressed. It has issues ans wasn't cheap. Any feedback would be great. I don;t want to spend a grand on a new one maybe 500 range. , Thanks Chris

Autopilot Greenhouse Master Controllers rock. I have one in each of my flowering rooms and they never have any problems.

I'm following this cos I'm not paying what companies ask for a thing I genuinely built myself for about a tenth of their price (excluding sensors)
Does your home build control CO2? I love to see ppl building their own stuff. Would like to know more for sure. Do you have data logging capabilities?

I'll see if I can maybe cobble together a bit of a how to, no promises at this point though.

I'm currently trying to build an app to go with it so I'm able to get a bit of control remotely. Currently running serial over USB.

If I can get the app reliable and working properly I'll open source it if there's interest.
App building is harder than I thought it was gonna be for sure
Edited to add, sorry I'm stoned and never actually answered, just rambled lol

Yeah it has minimal data logging currently but does control the points I've setup quite well.
I use it as more of an aid than a replacement for me.

Does it control CO2? I am interested in how you manage that, what sensor you like and such.

Sorry, I missed that too :eyesmoke:

Here's a link to the specs/wiki page

http://wiki.seeedstudio.com/Grove-CO2_Sensor/

They're widely available and I've found it to be quite accurate. (I have 2 that I averaged readings from but really only need one as it's been quite reliable
Those MQ sensors are a waste of time as they're affected by gases other than CO². Alright for playing but not to rely on

I use this solenoid activated by a mosfet. eBay item 331239439504
After the standard regulator etc set to just a couple psi
Sorry can't seem to get links to work for ebay

I'm running an STM32F4 series controller and the programs in C# so unless you go for the same my code will be useless.
Hope that's of some help

I too am getting together a controller based on a Raspberry Pi controlling several ESP8266-12E SOCs over wifi. I look forward to following this thread and maybe adding one of my own on the subject.
