What is "THE" best new rig for dabbing rosin?

Anyone remember Drew Carver? He was the guy who invented the titanium ladle and he was also a glassblower who made little bubblers especially for the ladle. I got one years ago and it has been my main rig for a lot of years. But, like many, it involves a torch to heat up the ladle and that whole deal makes it kind of intimidating for some users.

I'm looking for something new and when I started looking around, I realized there are ALL kinds of new things out there. But I don't have any idea of the reputable companies or people who make the new tech and I thought it might nice to get some input on what's what.

I looked into the "Belo" -which looked kinda fun -to "sip" the vapor....But, it turns out that it uses cartridges. I don't like the idea of cartridges.

Please fill me in on what you consider to be the ultimate way to dab...Oh yeah... and particularly for dabbing rosin I should add.....since that's all I dab anymore.

Thanks

You guys using those e rigs over a traditional quarts/torch set up? I’d only be interested in a direct replacement and I worry that I would start reaching for the torch after the honeymoon phase.

I was looking at the proxy yesterday. I like the modular design. I don’t like the price. Carta 2 looks nice as well.

I converted my Hashmaster Kut Titanium Skillet to an electric nail. The coil assembly lifts off for passing.Graywolfs dab rig.jpg

For something that will stay at home you don't need to travel with, hands down the Dr Dabber Switch. The convection heating is faster than anything else, and you never need to worry about replacing coils (it doesn't have coils).

Otherwise, the Dr Dabber Boost EVO or the Puffco Peak would be the only ones I'd consider. Probably a tie between those two

I was into glass and torching for many years. I have no desire to grab the torch. E-rigs are just too darned convenient, and perfect temp dabs everytime, and no chazzed quartz nails to deal with.
